PAYMENT OPTIONS

PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS:

If your employer offers this facility (ALL Catholic Dioceses do, click here for others) and you wish to use this method you will need to provide your employer's details and your PIN number (if applicable). This can be done by phone, fax, internet, email or by returning your membership form to the IEU office. PRDs are made fortnightly and the appropriate annual fee is divided into 26 equal payments.

When members on PRDs change employers (this includes moving from one Catholic diocese to another) their payments will stop and they must provide the IEU with new employment details (or change their method of payment) to maintain their financial status.

If you have a contract, payroll deductions will cease when the contract finishes otherwise PRDs will continue until a member changes employer or asks their employer (in writing) to stop PRD payments.

IEU fees will continue for those on PRDs during periods of paid leave such as Maternity Leave. Inform the IEU when starting such leave and we can ensure your continued coverage at the appropriate category for up to one year.

Members on PRDs should keep membership advised of any changes to their working status, Employers will not do this and it is not their responsibility.

DIRECT DEBIT:

Direct Debit payments can be arranged by phone, fax, at our secure site or by using the membership form.

When payment is by Direct Debit, your nominated cheque or savings account is debited on the last working day of the month. Where the last working day is a public holiday, debit will be on the preceding workday.

New Members pay dues from the month of joining and from then on as per the frequency they nominate.

AUTOMATIC CREDIT CARD DEDUCTIONS:
