IEU Environmental Survey: Share Your Views IEU members are invited to fill out the Union's Environmental Sustainability Survey and go into the draw to win a book pack.
From the enthusiastic response already to the IEU’s Counting Down to Copenhagen campaign, it is clear that many members want Australia to play a strong role when world leaders meet at Copenhagen this December to decide the next steps forward.
As the Union coordinates campaign and lobbying efforts throughout the year, members’ views will assist in shaping our response and your depth of feeling will help add weight to our contribution. We feel the best way to quantify this is through a survey, which we will be running throughout May.
Most members should have recently received a link to this survey via email. It can also be accessed from the Counting Down to Copenhagen section of the IEU website.
Completion should take no more than five minutes, participation is confidential and everyone who completes the survey is eligible to enter a draw to win a book package.
The package includes 'Scorcher: The dirty politics of climate change' by Clive Hamilton, 'Diary of a Wildlife Photographer' by Jan Latta, 'High and Dry' by Patrick J Byrne et al, 'Story About Feeling' by Bill Neidjie and 'A Taste of History: The stories behind our favourite foods' by Bryan Bruce.
The survey closes Friday 29 May 2009, with results to be reported in June Newsmonth and on the IEU website.
----------------Stoppress Stoppress Stoppress---------------------- NSW Climate Change and the Environment Minister and Deputy Premier Carmel Tebbutt has confirmed she will address the IEU Environmental Conference on 23 October. Watch this space and the website for more details and registration info.
