THE AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIAL LANDSCAPE AND KEY ISSUES FOR WOMEN
Sophie Ismail, ACTU Legal and Industrial Officer, played a major role in the development of the International Labour Organisation’s Convention 190 which seeks to outlaw harassment and violence in the workplace and she was also involved with the ACTU’s submission to the Australian Human Rights Commission’s Inquiry into Sexual Harassment in Australian Workpkaces. She has provided input to the national IEUA Women and Equity Committee and was a panel member at the 2019 IEUA Bold Conference.
