UNION WOMEN DISCUSS WORK, WELLBEING THE WAY FORWARD
Two union women officials from national and NSW perspectives, and a teacher and a support staff member, provide their insights about the key workplace issues affecting women and their practical suggestions to enhance workplace equity and inclusion. Key issues may be dignity and respect at work, opportunities for career enhancement and development, and engaging collectively with fellow union members to protect and enhance workplace activism. The aim of the panel session will be on exploring current workplace realities and on envisaging a positive way forward to achieve dignity, respect and opportunity at work in the non government education sector.
