WORKLOAD ISSUES IN SCHOOLS - KNOWING YOUR RIGHTS
Workload and work intensification are significant issues affecting the wellbeing of principals, teachers and support staff at all levels of education. Concerns include the collection and management of data, programming, assessing and reporting, meeting the needs of diverse learners, the impact of professional development requirements, and the proliferation of various forms of meetings and briefings.
This workshop will assist in understanding the provisions in Work Practices Agreements in the Catholic systemic sector, how to utilise WHS laws where appropriate, and the importance of collective action at workplace level.
