NGS Super is an industry fund which means it is run only to profit members, charges low fees and pays no commissions to financial advisers. The Fund is run by a Board of Directors made up of representatives from the IEU, the Association of Independent Schools and the Catholic Employers. The Board includes an equal number of member and employer representative Directors.
Independent research company SuperRatings, has awarded the Fund's Industry Super, Personal Super and the NGS Pension their Platinum rating which means it is placed in the top 15% of all super funds in terms of value for money.
Other member benefits provided by the Fund include low-cost death/disability and income protection insurance. Fund members can move from the superannuation stream to the pension stream at no cost ensuring that they receive full service throughout their careers and in retirement.
