Those in the know vote NO
As the Catholic employers' proposed EA goes to the vote today, many members have already contacted the Union informing them of their NO vote. Members recognise that their rights are in peril. They recognise that if they don't prevent this EA from passing, then they could lose the right to arbitration forever.
The unprecedented action of putting a non-Union agreement to the vote is evidence enough that employers want to sideline the Union and create a top-down hierarchy - they don't want to be accountable to anyone.
