Lismore CSO EA: Fact Check 2
Another letter has been distributed by Catholic Employers in the Lismore Diocese regarding the progress of the Enterprise Agreement. CCER continue to claim that the current disputes clause should remain in the agreement because "it has been in place for seven years and has resolved every dispute notified” despite the FWC having ruled on a different interpretation of the clause in June this year. Attempts by employers to offer employees a multi-enterprise agreement has been ruled against by the Fair Work Commission. The Union will recommend a ‘No’ vote to any EA that it has not endorsed and does not contain a clause that protects members’ rights.
