Safe at work survey

Everyone has a right to a safe workplace and to arrive home at the end of the working day, but that’s not always the reality in Australian workplaces.

Every week four people are killed and thousands more seriously injured in Australian workplaces. Every one of these is preventable!

Working people in their unions are fighting for improved workplace laws and safer workplaces. As part of this work, the largest peak body for working people in Australia, the Australian Council of Trade Unions, are inviting all workers to complete the safe at work survey.

The survey will only take a few minutes to complete but the information you provide will be invaluable. Please take the survey as soon as you can.

Australian Unions are running the survey to better understand your experience of work health and safety and to inform their submission to a review by the Government that is currently underway into Australia’s work health and safety laws.

This is your chance to have your say.

The results will be de-identified and submitted to the review, as well as being used in the campaign to protect the right of all workers to a safe and healthy workplace.

Some questions in the survey will give you an opportunity to share your personal experiences. Whatever you say will be treated with the strictest of confidence and your story will only be taken forward with your express agreement.

The more responses received the better informed our workplace health and safety work will be. Once you have completed the survey, please ask your friends and workmates to take the survey too.
