Early Childhood Conference

The IEUA NSW/ACT Branch annual early childhood conference We are all in this together: Support, Resilience, Recognition will take place on 7 August.

It’s at Aerial UTS Centre, Level 7, Building 10, 235 Jones Street, Ultimo, Sydney. It’s back to a face-to-face event this year after last year’s Zoom conference.

Keynote speaker will be Jay Weatherill, the CEO of Thrive by Five, an organisation dedicated to raising the status of the early childhood profession. Shadow Minister for Early Childhood Learning Jodie Harrison will also speak, as will IEUA NSW/ACT Senior Industrial Officer Michael Wright, who will speak about the IEU’s Equal Remunerations/Work Values case at the Fair Work Commission. There will be workshops on resilience and Indigenous culture, as well as a chance for some relaxation with yoga and drumming.

It’s back to a face-to-face event this year after last year’s Zoom conference. Keep an eye on the IEUA NSW/ACT Branch website www.ieu.asn.au and publications as further details are revealed.
