The IEU and HSU attended a meeting with the Ministry of Health on 15 April 2025 regarding the Teachers’ (NSW Health Early Childhood Service Centres) Salaries and Miscellaneous Conditions Award. We continue to work together to translocate the Director’s and Educational Leader’s allowances to the three levels in the Educational Services (Teachers) Award to facilitate funded increases to these allowances. As a result of these reassuring discussions, we expect to reach agreement with the Ministry on a new industrial instrument imminently, by 5 May 2025.
