SDN has advised the IEU they issued a Notice of Employee Representational Rights on Monday 29 June to employees who will be covered by a new SDN enterprise agreement. The current SDN EA is not due to reach its Nominal Expiry Date until 31 December 2026, but we understand that bargaining for a new agreement has been brought forward due to the extension of the Early Childhood Worker Retention Payment for a further 18 months. The first bargaining meeting will take place on 11 August 2026.
The IEU is deemed to be the bargaining representative for members.
