As you are aware, the IEU lodged a bargaining dispute with the Fair Work Commission (FWC) on 7 April. KU quickly agreed to amend their draft enterprise agreement to address many of the concerns raised by the Union. In particular, the increase to a minimum of 2 days per week non-contact time for Directors will come into effect once the EA has been approved by the Fair Work Commission, which is a significant improvement on KU’s previous position. Unfortunately, the 4 hours of non-contact time for Educational Leaders will not come into effect until 1 month after the EA is approved.
The IEU endorses the KU EA and encourages our members to vote YES.

Please encourage your teacher colleagues to join the union!
