The union is calling for expressions of interest for experienced teacher members to participate in NESA Focus Groups to review new draft syllabuses in the following subjects:
- Geography Elective 7–10
- History Elective 7–10
- Physical Activities and Sport Studies 7–10
- Visual Arts Elective 7–10
- Food Technology 7–10
- Digital Graphics Technology 7–10
- Textiles Technology 7–10
The union’s recommendations will be based on the below criteria and the understanding that those nominated by the union are representing all members.
Recommended teachers will have:
- Qualifications or extensive knowledge in their subject area
- Current experience and expertise in teaching in their subject area
