On 7 November 2025, the IEUA NSW/ACT Branch Executive unanimously passed the following motion:
That the IEUA NSW/ACT Branch Executive congratulates the VIC/TAS Branch on its fight to secure industrial rights for its members employed in Victorian Catholic schools.
We call on Catholic employers in Victoria to bargain in good faith through the single interest bargaining stream, thereby restoring workplace rights enjoyed by our members in Catholic schools in NSW, the ACT and other jurisdictions across Australia.
We stand with our IEU VIC/TAS comrades in Victorian Catholic schools as they fight for their right to take industrial action.
