The IEU represents principals and teachers holding comparable positions, such as directors of studies in ELICOS colleges.
The Union conducts regular meetings of principals to ensure we are able to vigorously and accurately represent your views and meet your particular needs.

IEU statement on the NSW election 25 March 2023: Essential Workers Deserve Better
The IEU is part of a Unions NSW campaign for improved pay and conditions for public sector workers including nurses, police, teachers, support staff in government services and public service transport workers. We are part of the campaign because pay rises for our members are affected by the pay increases received by teachers and support staff in government schools whose conditions are subject to the NSW Government pay cap.
