IEUA NSW/ACT is proud to support 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. The global campaign runs annually from the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November to International Human Rights Day on 10 December.
Over the 16 Days, the global campaign is highlighting the issue of digital violence under the theme “End digital violence against all women and girls”. Digital violence is one of the fastest-growing forms of abuse against women and girls. This year’s theme serves as a reminder that digital safety is central to gender equality.
Find out more about digital violence, what it is, why it is hard to stop and what actions are being taken by visiting the UN Women website. You can also download our 16 Facts for 16 Days poster below. This has been updated to reflect the 2025 theme.
