For 44 years, KU Chatswood Community Preschool has been part of the Chatswood community, providing affordable, high-quality early education.
The IEU has been made aware by members that Willoughby City Council will not to renew the preschool’s lease – instead handing the site over to a for-profit long day care provider. This decision puts profit ahead of families and community and our dedicated IEU teacher members at KU Chatswood now face the prospect of unemployment.
