We’re your voice at the bargaining table, representing you in industrial and professional matters to strengthen your pay and conditions. We provide support when something goes wrong at work and platform your interests in industry-wide discussions on the future of the early education sector.

We’re stronger together – join thousands of your colleagues fighting for a stronger, fairer early education sector.

Frequently asked questions

How does the union win better pay and conditions?

Like any trade union, the IEU exists to protect and advance its members’ interests.

Through a process called enterprise bargaining, we fight for (and win) better salaries and improved conditions, such as non-contact time for directors, educational leaders and teachers, in your workplaces.
